December is here already!
I've been busy with cards over the last few days but have no samples for you tonight. I was in Kilmacow last night doing a demonstration of both cards and jewellery for the I.C.A. Guild down there but I raffled off eveything I made and forgot to take pictures of them. I need to spend my weekend now getting ready for a craft class I'm doing on Monday night next with a group of teenagers from my local community so that'll keep me out of trouble for a while. Will be back soon hopefully!

Kilkenny Craft Club - 23/Nov/2011
Hi All, heres a pic of the card I done with the girls in Kilkenny last Wednesday night. The topper and backing papers are taken from the Lilac Garden Christmas CD and the die cuts used are the new Spellbinders Fleur De Lis squares and accents. It is finished off with a peel-off greeting.

Yvonne Tune Workshop in Kilkenny
On behalf of the Kilkenny Craft Club (and I'm sure all others who were there on the day) a huge Thank You to Yvonne for yet another wonderful day at the Bridge Centre in Kilkenny last Saturday. Yvonne gave us all much food for thought and also some great ideas for our Christmas Cards.
The card challenge for this class was a Child's Christmas Card and I decided
to do it for an older child rather than a younger one so here's my effort...

Hi all, I've been missing for a while but I have been busy crafting too!
Our Kilkenny Craft Club have been to the Hobbycrafts in Belfast and a great day was enjoyed by all who went. Below are three cards from our Wednesday nights in October at the Craft Club (which takes place at 7.30p.m in the Clubhouse in Kilkenny). The first one which was an anniversary card was taught to us by Kay Brennan and the second one called the bird house was taught by Ann Kirwan and the third one is a Pammy Hamster Christmas card taught by myself.
Hope you like them!

We had a lovely card making class in the Kilkenny Craft Club last night. Rita Shore thought the advanced class and I thought the beginners class. Below are the cards we made.
Rita's card was a square easel card embellished using a beautiful portrait topper |
My card was the beautiful 'Gorjuss girl' made using the Gorjuss - 'my secret place' 3D decoupage |
Marion Kibride is still accepting bookings for our Trip to the King's Hall in Belfast for the Hobbycraft Fair on Thursday October 13th. All queries and bookings can be made through Marion on 087-6544737.

Kilkenny Craft Club
Kilkenny Craft Club meet every Wednesday night at 7.30p.m. in the Clubhouse Hotel in Kilkenny. At the moment we have two different classes running every Wednesday, one for beginners and one for advanced crafters, but once the new beginners settle in after a few weeks we will all merge into one large class. Marion Kilbride looks after all the organising of events at the club and our next event is a trip to the Craft Fair in Belfast on Thursday October 13th.
Below are the cards I done with the advanced class last Wednesday night and we also made boxes to match.

Thanks Yvonne!
