I was invited to attend the Galway Federation 'Craft Day' on Saturday last, February 28th to teach a cardmaking class. I had a class of 16 women from the region who were a pleasure to teach and they made me feel most welcome for the day. Thanks to the Federation Committee who organised the day as it was their preparation and hard work that made the most difference to all of us.
Here are the cards I made with the ladies in my class.

This was a ladies Birthday Card and the card base was made using two pieces of cream card to demonstrate that indivualised card blanks can be made to suit the needs of the card you want to design. The image is a beautiful victorian of an elegant lady. |

I love this Wedding card, however I did make one change to it on the day in that we embossed the cream card to add texture and it worked out beautifully. The topper is a hobby house topper that can be purchased in sheets of 6 different toppers. I got them from Craftybride in Kilkenny. |

This is a Communion card that would be suitable for either a girl or a boy. The background colour is a beautiful grape colour but unfortunately, the photo is not doing it any justice. The ribbon could be replace with raffia for a boy version. |

I love this baby card too...again it is made using a Hobbyhouse baby topper. We made the card in the blue and the pink and both of them looked gorgeous. The baby feet are die cut using mirror card. |
